Penalties include: permit revocation; disapproval of subsequent applications; stop work orders; civil penalty in an amount not more than $500.00 but greater than $50.00 for each day the violation continues; criminal penalty not more than $500.00 but greater than $50.00 (sec. § 9-1856).
